Adax partners with Israeli telecom solutions provider to prepare businesses for new network
Reading, UK, 19 May 2014 – Ahead of Israel’s impending 4G rollout; Modulo Communications Systems has sought the expertise of the market leader in DPI (deep packet inspection) innovation, Adax, to ensure solid foundations and infrastructure requirements are in place for the upcoming network upgrade.
With several networks looking to launch 4G in Israel by the end of the year, vast bandwidth capability improvements will be required. Modulo, an Israeli provider of services for standard or customised telecom solutions, is assisting both local manufacturers and mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) with the transition from the current LTE generation to the next, known as LTE Advanced.
In light of the upgrade and the evolving Israeli telecoms market, Modulo has partnered with Adax to not only deliver unmatched intelligence and performance for DPI, but to bring the whole range of products – from SS7 monitoring technology to Adax’s EPC suites – to local providers and organisations. The initial stage of the relationship will see Adax assisting in the provision of a robust and comprehensive solution for OEMs and local manufacturers when delivering 4G services, ensuring they can deploy them faster and stay ahead of the game. This will be facilitated through the Adax Pkt2-AMC and Pkt2-PCIe Cavium-based controllers’ front-end intelligent processing, to deliver line speed packet processing across a range of platforms.
” We see Modulo at the heart of this upcoming technology evolution and through working with Adax we are able to enhance our own offering and add real value and expertise to our customers and the wider market throughout this transition phase,” says Franck Malka, managing director of Modulo. “It has always been our goal to be the finest solutions centre for modern and converged telecom applications in Israel. Our technical engineering team has good knowledge of the local market and we are considered a trusted advisor by our customers.”
“ Adax is very pleased to have partnered with Modulo and to have been involved in the much needed preparations ahead of the Israeli 4G upgrade,” says Robin Kent, director of Adax Europe. “Although our working relationship is still in its infancy, we are delighted with the close partnership we have developed and look forward to helping Modulo maintain its footing as an outstanding solutions provider.”
